About Mark
I’ve been working with apples since 2008 and learned to graft my first trees in 2010. It was love at first sight when I realized the magic of clonal propagation, and so my decade plus adventure propagating and growing apples began. I am an avid pomologist with over 10 acres of apple trees under cultivation–99% of which my wife and I propagated ourselves. I’ve long been a collector of interesting apple cultivars with a collection of hundreds of named apples for use in cider, eating, cooking, and more. I’ve discovered and named dozens of wild apples and brought them under cultivation in our orchards. I guess you could say I’m a little obsessed with all things apple. I look forward to sharing my passion and skills with you so that you too can experience the joy of growing your own apple trees!
