A Celebration of Pasture-Raised Eggs

Join us for a morning at Mountain Run as we celebrate the humble egg in all its glory! This event combines a hike to our farm, a behind-the-scenes t our, and a seasonal brunch featuring our pasture -raised eggs prepared in creative, mouthwatering ways .

Learn what “pasture-raised” truly means firsthand. See the benefits to both the chickens and you, the eater, when hens are raised this way. We ‘ve been told our eggs are bar none – and w e believe that all comes from how we raise our hens .

Hen Hike

Our morning begins at Camp Sedalia with a hike up to our hens grazing in the pastures and orchards. You’ll see how we raise truly exceptional eggs using regenerative practices that benefit the land, the birds , and ultimately, your taste buds.

Learn about our “Egg Mobile” system—a solar-powered mobile coop where our hens live as they rotate through 7+ acres of developing apple and pear orchards. Watch the chickens doing what they do best: foraging for insects and diverse plants, drinking fresh mountain well water, fertilizing the soil, and living their best chicken lives while producing extraordinary eggs.

What Makes Our Eggs Different

Our hens enjoy a life that follows natural patterns. They:

  • Rotate through orchards and pastures every 2-5 days

  • Eat locally -grown, non-GMO feed plus abundant bugs, worms, and plants they forage

  • Drink pure mountain well water

  • Live in a solar-powered mobile coop that rotates through the landscape

  • Stay safe with electric netting that moves with them

  • Contribute to our regenerative farm system by providing pest control and fertility

The result? Eggs with deep orange yolks, exceptional nutrition, and flavor that simply can’t be matched by store -bought eggs.

“Already looking forward to next year!! Treasured memories!”
